        How to measure the volume of a stone?
        Put an amount of water in a graduated cylinder.

        Record the volume of water.

        Put the stone in the cylinder

        Record the new volume of water

        The volume of stone = V2 – V1
        Notes:

        a. On reading the measuring cylinder, the vision must be     in horizontal

        position at the bottom point of water.

        b. The stone must not dissolved in water.















                  Volume of a solid body:



         Volume of cuboid = Length × Width × Height.
