The Falling Asleep in the Lord of

VELIMIR PETAKOVICH
April 4, 1933 – November 15, 2022
With hope in the Resurrection, and yet with sadness, we re- ceived the news of the passing of Very Rev. Father Velimir Petakovich, who fell asleep in the Lord at his home in San Diego on November 15.
The Bishop and the Diocese extend sincere condolences to his beloved wife, Protinica Ljubinka, children: Deyan & Natasa with children Niko- la and George, and Simona & Dr. Robert with children Aleksandra, Ste- fan, Katarina and Natalia Trifunovic and Alex and the entire Petakovich family, as well as to the clergy and parishioners of Saint George parish in San Diego.
With the saints give rest O Christ, to the soul of Your servant, where there is neither sickness nor sorrow, nor sighing, but everlasting life!
May his Memory be Eternal!
