divisions of gifts
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit
who gives them.
There are different kinds of ministries, but the same
Lord who assigns them.
And there are different kinds of activities, but the
same God who works all of them in all people.
And all these are workings of one and the same Spirit,
who distributes gifts to each one as He wills!
To each person, the manifestation of the Holy Spirit is
given for the common good.
When one member suffers, all the members suffer
with it; when one member is honored, all the mem-
bers rejoice with it!
The one who loves does not envy!
For our knowledge and our prophecy are limited to
only a part of the truth.
Now I know only in part, but then I will know fully,
just as God knows me.”

Lord, help me, when I see the talents in someone,
When I see them rise, gain fame,
To not envy them, to not be jealous,
Or to look down on them!
