Prayer B o ok
You, because everything else can be comprehended,
whereas You are indeed the Only incomprehensible
one.
Glory to You, Lord, who are the Only one we cannot
know,
cannot understand, cannot comprehend.
The Only one we cannot name.
Glory to You, Lord, who render words useless.
Who nullify languages.
You grant us words for Your love,
for Your glory and thanksgiving,
but make us slow of speech
regarding Your knowledge.
We thank You for this weakness of ours.
Thus, You lead us to our love for the Only
Mysterious One.
The divine drunkenness of Your incomprehensibility
is the supreme mystical delight of those
who praise You.
All who say “glory to You who have shown us the
Light.”
We murmur;
“glory to You who have shown us the light,”
O, Great, Light-bearing Love of existence!
