so. I wish I could go out with my friends again, thank
them for everything they have done for me, give
them the hug I couldn't give them the last time I saw
them, ask their forgiveness for everything I have
done wrong and spend the rest of the time with
them in laughter and joy. But since that is very
unlikely to happen in these times, the only thing I
can do is continue with my studies, make an effort
to have good grades, to wish the best for the future
and to thank God that my family and I are safe and
healthy in our homes.
MY LIFE IN QUARANTINE

Four months and half have passed since the
lockdown started. No one is ready to face a situation
like the one we are living right now. I believe it has
been very difficult for all of us. A lot of things have
changed in people’s lives. The first thing to
completely change was school. We started online
classes, and it was new to me. I had never had
online classes before the lockdown. I miss my
teachers, my classmates. I miss spending time with
Laura Alvarado and Laura Gómez. I miss joking
around during break time and in class. I miss my
homeroom teacher Jessica. I miss my English
teacher and every person I would share moments
with at school. This situation has also made us
spend hours and hours in front of a computer, and I
don’t like it. All of this affects the way we interact
with people, especially relatives. It also affects our
