70 CONSTRUCTION

The Constructi on (Design and Management) Regulati ons 2015 came into force in the UK on
April 6th 2015. The regulati ons set out what people within the Constructi on Industry need
to do to protect themselves and others from harm.
When working within the Constructi on Industry you need to sensibly plan any work you are
doing to reduce the risks involved from start to fi nish. You must ensure you have the right
people for the job who understand what they need to do. If there are any risks involved whilst
carrying out the work you must eff ecti vely communicate the informati on to the relevant
people and make sure risks are being properly managed.

make it easier to identi fy people
on site.
