The Second Temple period began after the Jews returned and built the Second Temple. It lasted until
               Titus destroyed it in 70 A.D.

               This comparison from Logos software is an excellent aid for visualizing the differences between
               Solomon’s Temple and the Second Temple (known as Herod’s Temple). Logos has also developed this
               recreation of the inside of the temple that is quite helpful for the student to visualize the inside of this

               magnificent structure.








                                                                                        It was built in

                                                                                        Covenant was housed
                                                                                        in the Holy of Holies





               between the Cherubim.
               Notice the location of the
               veil that was torn when
               Jesus, the Messiah, died
               on the cross. Also, notice
               the presence of the
               lampstands. Some have
               connected these
               lampstands to the seven
               churches in Revelation.
               This connection is
               debated.
