identity of the perpetrator. In the middle of the room, next to the body, stands a large, gray elephant.
The detectives carefully avoid bumping into the pachyderm's legs as they crawl and never even glance at
it. Over time, the detectives get frustrated with their lack of progress but resolutely press on, looking
even more closely at the floor. You see, textbooks say detectives must "get their man," so they never
               consider elephants.

Creative design is evidenced by the purposeful arrangement of parts that function together to
accomplish a task. Creative design requires intelligence on the part of the creator. His mechanical
device is a testimony to his intelligence, skills, and resourcefulness.

The more complex a device and the more information it takes to create it, the firmer our conclusion
must be! This had to be made by some intelligence!

Next, let's take a look at the complexity of our world.

                         Let’s Practice…

               1. Two characteristics signal our minds that someone of intelligence designed and created the observed
               object. What are they?

               2. Write out the complete biochemistry of vision:

(We are just kidding, it is so complex, you will never be able to understand it or write it out.)

               3. Is the eye an extraordinary and complex organ in our body? Is it improbable that
something this complex could have happened by chance?

               4. Does the complexity of the eye match specific patterns in other areas of science? (Sodium pumps,
chains of complex enzymes activating or deactivating other chemicals, etc.)
