Let’s get Personal…
Two weeks ago, Elias was in a terrible car accident coming home from Chicago. He was injured, but those in
the other car were killed. He and others tried to help a mother and a small child in the other car, but they
weren’t able to save them. Elias now has trouble sleeping as he dreams of the accident. He has a hard time
focusing on his job, seems withdrawn when he is around others, and is not his usual, happy, friendly self.
What can you do to counsel him during this time?
