In Biblical Counseling I, you learned about how to help the vulnerable. You were reminded that you are
vulnerable, Christ sympathizes with us, and we should do the same. Review 1 Kings 19 and read about how
the Lord dealt with Elijah. There are six strategies you can learn from that passage on how we can help
others. Write them below (example: We must demonstrate compassion and empathy). Take some time to
think about how you can use these strategies to help those who are struggling with mental health issues.
