Connect…
We really cannot fully grasp the entirety of the relationship between the persons of the Trinity. God is
infinitely more complex than our minds can understand. His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are so
far above our thoughts. It’s like comparing your mind to the brain of an ant. Sometimes, we must tell God
we just don’t fully understand who He is, but thank Him for what He has revealed of Himself to us. We do
know He is a God of infinite love and grace. He certainly has demonstrated that to us on the Cross.
God is deeply involved in our lives. He provided salvation, and now is in the process of making us more like
Christ. The Holy Spirit is actively a part of all these processes. We need to understand that the Holy Spirit is
deeply involved in manifesting God to us. Let’s see how….

Salvation
2 Cor. 1:21-22 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal
of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Gal. 4:6 Because we sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba,
Father.”
Titus 3:4-7 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of
righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and
renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that,
having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope
of eternal life.
1 Peter 1:1-2 To God’s elect, …who have been chosen according to the
foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the
Spirit, for obedience to Jesus and sprinkling by his blood: grace and peace
be yours in abundance.
Jude 1:20-21 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.
Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal
life.
