2 Cor. 3:3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with
the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Phil. 1:19 For I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has
happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.

1 Peter 1:10-11 Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you,
searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit
of Christ in them was pointed when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.

The Holy Spirit is associated with the Father by eleven different titles and with the Son by five distinct titles.
This association identifies the Holy Spirit with the other members of the Trinity. The titles point to the
equality of the Holy Spirit with the Father and Son, not to inferiority or dependence. When He is called “the
Spirit of God,” that means that He is the very Person of God. 1 Cor. 2:11 clearly shows that as man and his

spirit make the same being, so God and His Spirit are only one.

The Holy Spirit possesses the attributes of God:

The Holy Spirit is eternal.
Heb. 9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself
unblemished to God, cleanse your consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living
God!

The Holy Spirit is Holy. The Spirit is most often addressed as “the Holy Spirit.” This, more than any other title,
identifies his divine nature.

Romans 1:4 Who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his
resurrection from the dead; Jesus our Lord.

1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

The Holy Spirit is Life.
Romans 8:2 Through Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

The Holy Spirit is Truth.
John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his
own; he will speak only when he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

The Holy Spirit is Wisdom.
Isaiah11:2 The Spirit will rest on him-the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of
power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit is Grace.
Heb. 10:29 How much severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God
under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has
insulted the Spirit of Grace?

The Holy Spirit is Glory.
