A team's attitude will determine its altitude. One thing is certain: attitude is catching. The only thing that is
more contagious than a good attitude is a bad attitude. Most bad attitudes are a result of selfishness. Always
remember, bad apples ruin a team.

#9 The Law Of Countability: Teammates Must Be Able to Count on Each Other When It Counts
Teams don’t work for each other; they work with each other. Anytime you desire to build a team, you have to
begin by building character in the individuals who make up the team. The greatest compliment that someone
can give you is that you can be counted on.

#10 The Law Of The Price Tag: The team fails to Reach Its Potential When It Fails to pay the Price
If everyone doesn’t pay the price to win, then everyone will pay the price by losing. It would be best to
remember that there are no victories at bargain prices. Therefore, you will have to pay more the higher you
move, even for the smallest improvement. And the price for improvement never decreases. He who would
accomplish little must sacrifice little; he who would achieve much must sacrifice much. Therefore, we cannot
become what we need to be by remaining what we are.

#11 The Law Of The Scoreboard: The Team Can Make Adjustments When It Knows Where It Stands
The game plan tells you what you want to happen. But the scoreboard tells you what is happening. Many
people try to succeed without ever looking at the scoreboard. Therefore, the scoreboard becomes essential to
decision-making, adjusting, and winning. If you lead a team, you are responsible for checking the scoreboard
and communicating it to the team.

#12 The Law Of The Bench: Great Teams Have Great Depth
A great team with no bench eventually collapses. Any starter who minimizes the contribution of the bench is
self-centered and underestimates what it takes for a team to be a success. In ministry, everyone recognizes the
people up front during a worship service, but it takes scores of people working behind the scenes to bring that
service together. No one can neglect the majority of the team and hope to succeed. No one starts as a
superstar, but they are developed from the bench.

#13 The Law Of Identity: Shared Values Define The Team
Shared values are like glue; values hold people together. A team's values act as a magnet; they attract people
like them. Remember that a team cannot share values if the values have not been shared with the team.
Getting people to buy into your values takes time. Therefore, always remember that the celebrated values are
            the values that get done.

#14 The Law Of Communication: Interaction Fuels Action
Effective teams have teammates who are constantly talking to each other. Communication increases
commitment and connection; they, in turn, fuel action. Leadership rises and falls upon communication. Ask not
what your teammates can do for you, but ask what you can do for your teammates. Communication that is
focused on giving rather than getting takes the team to a whole new level. Communication increases
            connection.

#15 The Law Of The Edge: The Difference Between Two Equally Talented Teams Is Leadership
If you want to win and keep winning for a long time, train players on the team to become better leaders.

#16 The Law Of High Morale: When You’re Winning, Nothing Hurts
High morale is one of the essentials to creating the right circumstances for any team to perform at the highest
level. Leaders are dealers in hope.
