c) All graduates of the Isabela State University and that of merged institutions
such as: Isabela State College of Agriculture (ISCA), Cagayan Valley
Institute of Technology (CVIT), Isabela School of Arts and Trades (ISAT),
Jones Rural School, Roxas Memorial Agricultural and Industrial School
(RMAIS) and San Mateo Vocation and Industrial School (SMVIS) including
the graduates in High School of these afore-mentioned institutions, and the
college graduates of CHED Supervised Institutions that were absorbed by
the Isabela State University.
Section 2. The alumni are encourage to organize themselves into associations or units
to be known as ISU Alumni Association Echague Chapter; ISU Alumni
Association Cabagan Chapter; ISU Alumni Jones Chapter; ISU Alumni
Association Ilagan Chapter; ISU Alumni Association San Mateo Chapter; ISU
Alumni Association Roxas Chapter; ISU Alumni Association Cauayan
Chapter; ISU Alumni Association San Mariano Chapter; and ISU Alumni
Association Angadanan Chapter. Graduates of extension units such as
Santiago and Palanan shall be included in their mother campuses. They may
also decide to organize themselves into independent sub-chapter with specific
identifies such as ISU High School Alumni Association, Echague Chapter; ISU
Forestry Alumni Association, Cabagan Chapter; ISU Engineering, Ilagan
Chapter and so on as the case maybe.
Section 3. It shall be the moral and professional obligation of every ISU alumnus to govern
his acts and conduct manifest of his/her professional competence in a manner
that will add honor and prestige to his alma mater. Every alumnus is expected
to maintain a mutual relationship with his fellow alumni and extend assistance
when necessary.
Section 4. An Alumni Affairs Office is headed by a Chief who shall perform the following
functions:
a) Establish and maintain communication lines with alumni through
consultative meetings, conferences, and other activities;
b) Seek support and sponsorship of University plans and programs, and other
forms of collaboration from alumni;
c) Maintain updated alumni directory.
d) Spearhead and collaborate the conduct of periodic alumni tracer studies;
e) oversee the affairs of the alumni associations;
f) assist graduates in seeking employment;
g) spearhead alumni projects/activities which are beneficial to the members
and to the university, and
h) Perform other related tasks as directed.
Section 5. All relevant and pertinent rules and regulations governing the activities of
alumni organizations like holding of alumni homecoming, election of officers,
consultative meetings and conferences, alumni fee, recognition of alumni
organization/s, financial statement report, etc. should be included in the
constitution and by-laws of any alumni organization.
