Athe University did not derail from being a constant collaborator
of community development. A University “for the People” as stipu-
lated in its operational mantra, the University fervently committed
humanitarian services to relieve the public from the episodes of
overwhelming health crisis and natural disasters.
At the same time, the University maintained extensive relations
with outlying communities by continuously empowering them toward
sustainable development thru its four-pronged umbrella extension pro-
grams: Adopt A Barangay Volunteerism Program; LGU Extension Capa-
bility Strengthening Program; Gender and Development and; Communi-
ty Outreach and Support Services.
It is with the University’s extension advocacy to be in the service
of the people and community, most especially in these dire times. With
the available technologies generated from its researches, the University
sees to it that these would be utilized to propel thriving communities,
onward the development path at the national level.
