Q. What is the most rewarding part of your job?
San: Helping people learn to manage chronic disease and stay healthy.
Q. What advice do you have for those wanting to get into the healthcare field?
San: Go for it! Working in healthcare is rewarding. Nursing also provides unlimited practice opportunities. As
a career diabetes care and education specialist, I’ve had the great pleasure of combining my love for teaching and patient care.
Q. What makes URMC a great place to work?
San: The people with whom I am privileged to work! They are my family away from home. The commitment
to great care is evident here. Our community is blessed to have URMC!
