Rabbi Yochanan felt it was worthwhile to sell all of his assets in order to
be able to spend his life pursuing Torah studies. He explained that this
world was created in only six days while the Torah was given in forty
days.
Rav told his disciple to eulogize him fervently, since he would be present.
It was imperative to excite the congregation with words of mussar,asnot
