 Zimri presented the Midianite woman before Moshe Rabbeinu, asking him
 if he might marry her. Moshe forgot the halachah that one who consorts
 with a gentile woman deserves death. How could Moshe have forgotten
 the halachah? Moshe, in dealing with Zimri, looked into his face, thereby
