                   Hahor at the word of Hashem and died there,
                   in the fortieth year after the Children of Israel
                   went forth from the land of Egypt, in the fifth                                                Hashem commands Bnei Yisrael to designate cities of refuge for those
                   month on the first of the month. Aharon was                                                    who would sin unintentionally. Why were three cities of refuge established

                   one hundred and twenty-three years old at his                                                  east of the Jordan? This would seem to be a reward for those tribes who

                                                                                                                  The roads to the cities of refuge were marked by road signs, whereas the
                                                                                                                  roads toward Yerushalayim were not marked at all. This demonstrates that
