Blade & Rose the Journey,
Amanda, Jon, Harvey Blade & Issey Rose.

Blade and Rose was founded by Amanda Peffer in 2010.
When she was on maternity leave with Issey Rose. Amanda
was in search of fun funky legging as there was nothing on
the market that featured this and she was fed up of boring
legging designs. After extensive research, and a thorough

evaluation of the children’s market. She decided to take
matters into her own hands and therefore created Blade and
Rose, named after both of her children’s middle names. Each
with their own unique and trendy design on the bottom. A
major component of the development was to ensure that the
quality of the fabric was durable, functional, would wash well
and most importantly, that was soft and kind to my babies
skin. Blade and Rose has gone from strength to strength and
we are delighted to be collaborating with the fantastic team

at Peter Rabbit. As a family business based in the Lake District
ourselves xxxx
