Polydemic Hospital (NPH) reached out

to the u maguete team on June 9,
requesting to borrow the site's mobile

generator following a scheduled

city-wide power interruption. Two of the

hospital's generator sets (gensets)

malfunctioned and required repairs.

With an admission capacity of 100,

the hospital treats regular and

COVID-19 patients and power failures

are considered a critical emergency.

As site operations were being supported

by fixed generators, the team acted

with urgency in lending a hand to

the community.
