THE SPiCE Call for articles:
MAGAZINE REVIVAL
SPiCE, the moniker for SPi Communicates Everything, is
SPi Global’s enterprise newsletter magazine that features
stories about company’s milestones and activities, its
employees and their insights among others.
Slated to have its first outing for the year in the 3rd week
of August 2018, all employees are encouraged to submit
their stories highlighting the different facets of SPi Global –
ranging from the global perspective to the personal.
By opening submissions to writers across all locations, the
editorial team envisions to present a reinvigorated SPiCE.
A collation of unbiased and inspired views from around
the world, the magazine will showcase editorial pieces
that can provide insight into, and inspiration to (and
from) the wider SPi Global community.
Articles should not be more than 900 words. Those
supported by corresponding photos will have the best
chances of being published. All stories will be properly
bylined and contributing writers will be acknowledged as
part of the writers’ pool.

From around the Globe: In-depth stories on
site-specific activities and milestones, these articles
may be straight-forward reportage about our
business and operations, or unique stand-alone
stories that highlight the strength and resilience of
local teams.
CSR Corner: Article features may focus on a specific
community service project and its impact to its
beneficiary communities. Profiles of employees who
are greatly committed to SPi Global’s volunteer
works may also be highlighted.
Leaders in the Spotlight: Insightful messages from
leaders across all locations, themed articles of
advise may revolve around career, advancement,
and practical recommendations on how-to-thrive in
the SPi Global ecosystem.
Tech Talk: Conversations on technologies that are
making waves both in and outside the company,
articles may be reviews of applications, software
and gadgets, or a writer’s opinions on how to
maximize their use.
A Day in the Life: A focus on skills and expertise, these
stories show the faces behind the work of SPi Global.
They are relatable and relevant. These character
profiles represent excellence and humanity in our
work-place.
Essays: Editorial contributions will also be featured in
SPiCE, like experiences of travel under the company
banner for instance, or reflection pieces that have
insightful messages for peers and colleagues.
