Following through with SPi Global’s commitment to support youth welfare and
education, PH sites continue efforts to Share the infinIT gift, through CSR programs
that kicked-off during this year’s global CSR Day, held on March 17, 2018.

Laguna site’s computer training project has permeated the secondary and
vocational schools in the community. First partnering with ASPiRE University for a train
the trainers program for volunteers, employees have now started teaching the basics
of Photoshop to learners at the Calamba Manpower Development Center. Other
beneficiaries of the team’s computer learning outreach will be students from the
City College of Calamba (E-publishing), Barandal Elementary School (MS Word, Excel)
and Punta Elementary School (MS Word).

The life-changing impact of Dumaguete’s CSR program is evident in the site’s
employee participation. Currently, the team has clocked in 35,282 hours with 1,346
employee volunteers supporting various initiatives. Ongoing efforts to forward IT
education by the team are Curriculum Development and Computer Literacy Training

Elementary School, Nasig-id Elementary School and Cadawinonan Elementary School.

Parañaque’s CSR program is geared towards enhancing learning experiences for
students and teachers of La Huerta Elementary School. Committed to upgrading the
computer laboratory into a smart classroom by the end of Q3, the team has
conducted activities to raise funds for the necessary equipment. Curriculum
development on computer skills enhancement for teachers and a technology
powered student literacy program are also in the works.

Notably, the CSR Champions and volunteers
from the Dumaguete, Laguna and Parañaque
sites have forwarded the company’s thrust
      towards enriching lives through technology.
By way of awareness and training programs in
      partner institutions, continuous engagement
with communities and the grassroots, and
providing tools for an enhanced learning
      environment, SPi Global’s sustainable
      CSR campaign carries on.

CSR Update: PH continues to Share IT. • 05 July 2018 3
