Since the appointment of Prabhakar Bisen as the company’s
COO, he has been the subject of speculation among
employees. The IOM on his joining the company and
achievements in the IT-BPO industry, painted him at a high-level.
Rightly so, that many employees asked:
What kind of a leader will he be?

Going through Prabhakar’s LinkedIn profile, one gleans the
magnitude of his industry experience. His personal introduction
is short but substantive – giving an impression of a professional
who, very much like our long-time leaders at SPi, does not try to
overly convince. For the regular joe, his accomplishments can
be overwhelming. In fact, to take on the breadth of his
expertise, one must have a calculator in order to tally them all
into a number. Scrolling through the testimonials and
recommendations, however, shed clearer light on the new

After spending hours looking into all of the materials that can be found about Prabhakar on LinkedIn
and on the internet, one realizes that he shares the values and beliefs of the company – Integrity,
Accountability, Malasakit, Meritocracy, and Respect. He also advocates education and volunteers as a
member of the industry advisory council at the oldest management school in India, which undeniably
fits him in as a true champion to our cause.

After over two weeks of having Prabhakar onboard, stories of first encounters with him also give a
glimpse of a humble character – stories told by Paranaque employees in hushed voices and low tones.
“I only met him briefly but he already greeted me by my name,” one employee gushed. “He looked me
in the eye and then smiled, even though we’ve never met,” whispered the other. “He believes in the art of
possible,” quipped an excited leader.

And so while still green at his position in SPi, this curious writer is convinced that Prabhakar is definitely a
leader whom every employee will be honored to work with.
