Currently, Thailand’s express parcel delivery market covers all types and formats, comprising : 1) Express Parcel Delivery 2) International Parcel Delivery, 3) Temperature-Controlled Parcel Delivery, 4) On-Demand Parcel Delivery (Motorcycle), 5) On-Demand Parcel Delivery (4 - 6 Wheel Vehicles), 6) Fulfillment Services, and 7) Shipping Aggregator (Consolidator). InternationalTransportBusiness: In2024, the competitive situation of the industry remains intense, as was the case in the previous year. A significant number of new transport service providers have entered the market, and each operator has implemented various strategies to attract users. However, price competition may not be a sustainable competition. As a result, traditional parcel transport businesses that do not have their own online sales channels must quickly adapt to maintain their market position by focusing more on service quality. Additionally, given the current status and competitive environment, there is an increasing emphasis on expanding services to niche markets, particularly those catering to specific customer needs. This includes services such as On-Demand Delivery Services and Temperature-Controlled Transport, etc. Moreover, businesses are forging strategic partnerships to offer comprehensive service solutions, such as collaborating with department stores with online sales platforms and small businesses that provide regular delivery services. This approach gives consumers a broader range of service options, meeting customer demands while driving business growth.
