actions especially healing and teachings against rich would have
brought some kind of damage to their image/income/livelihood.
For example: money changers (Matthew 21:12), tax collectors,
physicians and so on. Like in every society even during Jesus’
time there might be some people who always acted in favor of
the Empire for their benefits (Matthew 26:14-16) and to earn
goodwill from the Empire. Some people in the crowd were
unable to accept Jesus’ radical reformative actions such as Jesus
promoting Gender equality, eating with sinners, healing the
sick, acknowledging the gentiles, uplifting the poor and so on.
All these people were among the mob and they instigated other
mob to cry “crucify him, crucify him”
If we analyze the above factors it is very clear that mob
at court was very much against Jesus but the question is who
instigated their mind? There are socio-political, economic,
religious and psychological issues which makes mobs minds
more complex. These factors are so powerful that this can
completely change the optimistic ideology to destructive
ideology. These factors will further push the victim into more
vulnerability. Even in India mob politics took a new shape in
the present day context. As we have already understood that
Ochlocracy is a threat to democracy, now in India too, this
democracy is questionable for many reasons. In Indian context,
in the name of religion, mob from dominant ideologies, trying
to show their power politics through the number game. Since
they are more in number, they can raise their loud voice and they
started to subjugate minorities in India. Infact this mob who
is subjugating Christianity and Christians are those who once
applauded Christianity and got benefited through (education,
health, social change and so on) now same people started to
speak against Christianity like the mob who applauded Jesus
during the triumphal entry saying Hosanna, and now shouting
to crucify Jesus. Once again like the situation in 1st century
A.D, people in India got influenced by many factors like socio-
political, religious and economic aspects to mock the truth. But
we need to understand that the cross movement would have
