Young Adult Ministry

The Young Adult group at St. Stephens continues to be an active and thriving
group. The group rotates their activities through Theology nights, socials and
service nights to our parish. We have a “bucket-list” of skills we have been
learning such as cooking, sewing and dancing.

                                       Coordination (Governance)

Coming off 2022-2023 recovering from Covid, we were unsure of what our financial
picture for 2023-2024 was going to look like. But thanks to the generosity of our
parishioners, we came back strong and outperformed our budget and added a
        surplus to our savings.

The administration (Coordination) Dept. continued to improve our technology working
with the new Parish Data Base System (Parish Staq) implemented by the Archdiocese
of Seattle. We were able to add a new security system, new computer server, cloud
services, public wi-fi, and continued improvements of our steaming system.
With the uncertainty of the impact of Partners of the Gospel and recommendations
from the Archdiocese of Seattle, long term facilities plans were put on hold. We have
continued to repair existing building systems and maintain our facilities as needed
until plans can be developed in coordination with the needs of St. Anthonys as part
        of our new Parish Family.
Administration will continue to work to be good stewards of all God’s gifts shared
with our parish to do the work according to our Parish Mission.
