quality rice, the DIT collaborated with the Thai Rice Packers Association to organize consumer campaigns. Activities were held at the “Thailand Rice Fest 2023” and the “New Crop Rice and Creative Rice Products Festival” from December 14-17, 2023 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. The event featured workshops on rice-based cooking and rice mixing, as well as the sale of rice at affordable prices.
2.8) Project to enhance trade potential of safe agricultural products. This project aimed to expand and connect distribution channels for safe agricultural products, helping farmers increase their market reach. The DIT organized the “Safe Agriculture Corner by DIT” in collaboration with major department stores i.e. CentralWorld, Central Ayutthaya, Robinson Srisaman, Central Westville, Robinson Lat Krabang, Central Pinklao, Robinson Ratchaphruek, Central Chaengwattana, and Central Westville. These venues offered direct- to-consumer retail spaces for farmers to sell safe agricultural products from July to September 2024. To strengthen consumer confidence, the DIT also supported product safety inspections by testing for chemical residues in the produce participating in
the activities.
