(2) NewYearfestival.TheDIT partnered with private sector entities—from large- to small-scale producers—to host the “New Year Mega Sale 2024”, from December 15, 2023 to January 15, 2024. Consumer products, services, and online platform offerings were discounted by up to 82%, to stimulate economic activity and reduce household
expenses.
(3) ChineseNewYearfestival (Year of the Golden Dragon). In cooperation with central markets, fresh markets, and shopping malls nationwide, the DIT organized discounted sales points for Chinese New Year essentials—including Chinese gods offering sets, boiled chicken, stewed duck, pork hip meat with belly skin, auspicious fruits, and ready-made meals—with discounts of
up to 71%, held between February 7-10, 2024.
(4) Back-to-schoolcampaign.
The DIT partnered with manufacturers, distributors, internet providers, logistics companies, and online platforms to launch “Back to School 2024”, offering discounted prices on such items as school uniforms, stationery, educational materials, and textbooks—up to 80% off—from April 25 to May 31, 2024 to help relieve the burden on parents.
