affordable and of good quality, with a maximum price of THB 35 per dish/bowl/bag. As of now, there are 5,663 participating Blue Flag vendors nationwide, collectively helping consumers save approximately THB 2.66 million per day on ready- made food purchases.
(3) Blue Flag stores for local economic development. Aimed at creating a permanent channel to reduce living expenses and support low-income earners holding State Welfare Cards, these Blue Flag stores allowed purchases of essential and quality goods at reasonable prices using electronic data capture (EDC) machines or mobile applications. Currently, 150,887 Blue Flag stores nationwide accept payments using State Welfare Cards via EDC and mobile apps. Total spending through this system has reached THB
348.39 million.
2) Buildingconfidenceandensuring fair trade practices
2.1) Supervision of goods and services
(1) Determinationofcontrolled goods and services under control. The DIT prescribed 57 items—52 goods and 5 services-as controlled commodities to ensure reasonable pricing and adequate supply in the market, while preventing unfair pricing practices. Regulatory measures were enforced based on prevailing market conditions and necessity. These included price ceilings, mandatory pre-approval of price changes, and requirements of reporting on import volumes, sales quantities,
stock levels, costs, and retail prices.
