• Production materials. Machines must be made of durable materials that are resistant to tampering or fraudulent manipulation.
• Labeling requirements. Machines must clearly display key information, such as the manufacturer’s name or trademark, model, serial number, aperture size for each sieve, and the machine’s overall dimensions.
• Gradingcapacity.Machinesmustindicate their throughput capacity in kilograms per hour.
• Maximum permissible error. The maximum allowable error for sieve apertures is ±0.5 millimeters.
• Validityofcertification.Certificationswill remain valid for two years from the date of issuance.
• Transitional provision. Machines in use prior to the effective date of this Notification must undergo inspection and certification within one year of the enforcement date. Failure to comply will constitute a violation of the Weights and Measures Act B.E. 2542 (1999) and subject to penalties of up to one year imprisonment or a fine not exceeding THB 40,000, or both.
