c. Re-Orientation: The concluding part of the text which
contains conclusions, messages, impressions, or the author's
feelings about the events experienced.
4. The language features of recount text are:
a. Simple past tense: Recount text uses the Simple Past Tense
because the events that are being told are events that
occurred in the past
b. Using the adverb of time and using the adverb of sequences:
The adverb of time has a function to tell when something
happens. Meanwhile, the adverb of the sequence is an adverb
used to express the sequence of an action or story, or event.
c. Using conjunction and using chronological connectors:
Conjunctions are words that link other words, phrases, or
clauses together. And the chronological connector is a
conjunction used to express the sequence in which an event
occurs.
d. Using personal participant: a person who is actively involved
in an event.
e. Using Linking Verb: a subject by linking it with a predicate
adjective or predicate noun.
5. The types of recount text are:
a. Personal Recount: a type of text that aims to tell about the
author's personal experience.
b. Factual Recount: a story to present reports related to events
that occurred based on facts.
c. Imaginative Recount: a text that is usually used by someone
as a story of an imaginative event.
d. Historical Recount: a recount text whose contents tell
historical events that really happened in the past.
