      We are Now Accepting Nominations for the 2020 WISH Award



      The Women in Safety organization was designed by the Utah
      Safety Council as a group for professional women within safety
      and health industries.
      Women in Safety brings a unique perspective to these industries,
      and the Utah Safety Community by providing an opportunity for
      new topics, open discussions, education, service and networking.

      Each year, this group presents the Women in Safety and Health
      Award  to  a  deserving  woman  who  has  shown  exceptional
      dedication and leadership.
      The recipient is selected based on a variety of criteria including:  Please take our Women in Safety survey (click here).
         • Exceptional performance in a leadership role
         • Involved in implementation of safety cultural change(s) in their workplace or industry

         • Demonstrates creative excellence
         • Significantly impacted the safety and health of employees
         • Contributes to Utah Safety Council’s overall objective of making Utah a safer place to live and work
         • Participated or created a unique safety initiative
      The award is presented at the end-of-year Women in Safety Event, and the recipient is also honored during the
      Utah Safety Council’s Annual Meeting and Awards.  Email safety@utahsafetycouncil.org to request a nomination
