Bersih, suci, subur, berkat dan
berkembang.
Pengertian perkataan “bersih dan suci” dalam
istilah zakat ialah membersihkan harta dari hak
orang lain dan menyucikan dari sifat kedekut
dan bakhil. Dalam erti kata lain juga zakat
membersihkan diri daripada sifat dengki dan
dendam terhadap orang lain.
Cleanses, purifies, increases, blesses and enriches.
The meaning of the word “clean and pure” in the
sense of zakat is to purify wealth from the rights of
others and to free it from the nature of miserliness
and stinginess. In other words, zakat also purifies
from the nature of envy and revenge against other
people.
