                                         MERAKI

His dedication, love and curiosity to express what East African kids have in their souls through Art in
the form of designs, styles,Modelling & Photography by using creativity as his main pillar helped him
to create a huge impact on several young talented E.African folks, known as Meraki today.

Vurdu Quoted “By expressing our Art naturally influenced by our culture in a form of Artistic work, he
believed we can open the doors for the rest of the world to be welcomed and proudly become a part
of our land, history, culture and lifestyle and share the beauty we have as E.Africans that has not
been recognized in so many years.

In today’s world full of cultural interferences excavated the feeling of Individualism to Artists so they
can express their feelings and point of views and paint a picture of a particular culture. Vurdu was
among the people who believed they have something huge to share with the world through Art so
they can be part of the African culture just as how Western culture has influenced young Africans’
       lives, so as Meraki.
