The birth of Lord Krishna is the birth of joy because Krishna is absolute joy!!
Children of PP1, PP2 and PP3 were dressed in traditional attire as little Krishnas and
Radhas, sang the bhajan Achyutam Keshavam. They enjoyed the story of Lord Krishna
narrated by the facilitators.
Facilitators showed the students of PP2 objects like Flute, Cow, Butter, Peacock Feather
and Avalakki which gave them hints to guess the festival. Sweet Avalakki was prepared
by the children by mixing jaggery, grated coconut and cardamom powder as it is one of
Krishna’s favourites.
Facilitators taught the students of PP3 the 1st verse of Balamukundashtakam, children
enjoyed reciting the shloka with action. Facilitators narrated the story of Krishna and
Sudhama which gave them an insight about their friendship. Children also enjoyed
painting and decorating the pot.
