A master class on coding was conducted for the students of grade III – VIII of Sri Sri

Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Bangalore North by Mr. Aanand Srinivas, Founder CEO, ‘Stay

Qrious’. Mr. Aanand Srinivas is a coding coach and was a content creator for Byju’s group till

2016. He was also the project head at Khan Academy and now has his own school ‘Stay Qrious’.

Ms. Sree Nanavaty gave an introduction about the key points of the session and introduced the

resource person Mr. Aanand Srinivas. Aanand sir took up the session and it was divided into

3 parts.
Part 1 – What is coding/programming?
Part 2 – Why is learning coding important?

Part 3 – How to learn coding?

Session started with interaction, which the children loved as it gave them a clear idea about

coding, with beautiful examples. Lots of fun with practicals was the best part of the session.

Children enjoyed the creation of Captain America’s Shield through simple coding and a demo

of a few games designed by the kid's team at Stay Qurious.

He brought out the fact that in future each and every field requires coding and that is why

learning coding becomes very essential. From music to treatment, coding will become an
unavoidable aspect.
He threw light on how to learn coding in a proper way. Asking questions and clearing them

will help to learn coding easily and interestingly.

The session concluded with interaction between students and the coach, where he took up the

queries and answered them very clearly. Then a feedback form was given to fill in by the

students to acquire a scholarship to learn coding from ‘Stay Qrious’
