2. Family fingers
The students were introduced to the concept of a family. The importance of family, love, care,
responsibilities, and the strong bond shared between the members were discussed in the class.
Children made finger puppets, drew the faces of the family members on their fingers and sang ‘the
family fingers’ song happily. Taking the opportunity of online classes, children introduced their family
to the class with excitement. It was a big celebration as toddlers, siblings, parents, aunts, uncles,
cousins and grandparents participated with great enthusiasm. It was a treat to see the love and warmth
that the families shared.
