Fun Activity - Toy Mela
“A day spent with toys, always a day well spent”
Toys not only entertain, they also build minds, instill goals. They engage children’s senses,
spark their imagination and encourage them to interact with others. Toys help them to
understand the importance of sharing and develop empathy. On the eve of Dussehra, the
students were given an opportunity to show the bond that they share with their first friend –
‘TOY’. They enthusiastically participated and displayed their toys. Varieties of eco- friendly
toys made of coconut shells, dry coconuts, ice cream sticks, paper dolls, wooden dolls, cloth
dolls and traditional board games were showcased. There was a spark in the eyes of children
when they shared something close to their heart.
