One can learn a scientific topic very easily by performing a practical experiment. The
students observed practical demonstrations of the conditions required for combustion and
characteristics of a candle flame. The students observed the demonstration related to the
importance of ignition temperature of a substance, requirement of oxygen for combustion and
various zones of a candle flame. The demonstration helped the students to understand the
concepts better.
