Our beloved Pujya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar ji always says “The journey

is long, but the goal is in each step”. Today marked the beginning and the

first step for us, the 11 graders of SSRVM Bangalore North, as we

embarked on our new academic journey.

We started the academic year 2021-2022 on 17 May 2021 which also
th

happened to coincide with Shankar Jayanti, only making our day more

auspicious. The event was professionally compered by Srilakshmi Badri of

grade XI, who managed the proceedings with great precision and

coordination. We began the inauguration ceremony by invoking the

blessings of the almighty through prayers. Guru Puja is a traditional

ceremony of gratitude honoring the lineage of spiritual masters who have

been the custodians of knowledge of the self. On this occasion, Guru Puja

was conducted by the administrator of SSRVM Trust, Sri Raviprakash ji to

seek the blessings of the divine for the new school year. Further, we were

immersed in the blissful rendition of bhajans by Nidhi Meda of grade XI.

Our day was made more special with the presence of Smt. Rama Venkatesh,

Academic Head at SSRVM Trust who was our Guest of Honour. Rama ma’am

gave us an inspiring start through her thought provoking words. The alumni

of our institution shared their experiences with us. Their words truly made

us believe that SSRVM is not only a temple of knowledge but also a temple

of spirituality, creativity and innovation. We are ever so grateful to have

such a remarkable group of seniors to guide us towards our next chapter.

An overview of the subjects were given by our teachers. They also spoke

about the topics in depth that will be covered in our respective

specialization streams.

Our beloved principal Smt. Mamatha Raviprakash wished us a successful

academic year. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by Jeevitha

A of grade XI.
