GOAL 1

We provide highly valuable, market-based certifications that will help participants gain career
enhancement and mobility.

Objective
1.1 To obtain CEU accreditation for I5O certification program by 2020.
Strategy
1.1.1 Submit IACET Application by June 2020 (73 Measures)

1.2 To identify (3) minority serving community colleges to develop certificate
programs
Strategies

1.2.1 Research all community colleges
1.2.2 Review college demographics for need
1.2.3 Breakdown by economic demographics (etc. economic
factors, rural areas, etc.)
1.2.4 Develop marketing plan

1.3 To expand NCCAA certification program by 20% by Dec 2019 (pilot to Dec
2019)
Strategies

1.3.1 Expand our geographic scope to 2 states outside of
NC by June 2020
1.3.2 Partner with NCCAA to identify other states needed
Head Start / Case Management certifications
1.3.3 Develop an aggressive marketing plan by NCCAA (Need
NCCAA to talk to other states),
o Send to 80% of Head Start Program
o Send to 80% of Case Management
o Send to 80% of Board Members

Objective

1.4 To submit 3 workforce grants by Dec 2020
1.5 Gain and remain ICET accredited (meeting all standards)
