Structure
• Embedded in each of the 8 web-based modules are assignments designed
to encourage critical reflection and skill application.
• Participants will have one week to complete each individual module at their
own pace. Modules will open at 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
• At the completion of the course, participants should be able to
demonstrate increased knowledge of theories and concepts related to
family service work, as well as demonstrate increased competence in
working with families in need.
• After successful completion and grading of all modules, and verification
from Southern University that payment has been received, the certificate
should typically arrive in the mail within 4 weeks.
