1.Define: Clearly define the process and
its objectives.
2.Measure: Collect data and measure
the process to establish a baseline for
performance.
3.Analyze: Analyze the data to identify
areas of inefficiency, waste, and
opportunities for improvement.
4.Improve: Implement changes to the
process to reduce waste, increase
efficiency, and improve quality.
5.Control: Establish controls to ensure
that the process continues to perform at
the improved level and that any further
changes are made in a controlled and
monitored manner.
