b. A hope
Hope is used to talk about something that we want in the past, present or future.
The most important thing, it is possible to be true or happen.
Examples :
➢ I hope you had a good attitude at the party last night. (in the past)
➢ I haven’t looked outside yet. I hope it’s not raining. (present)
➢ I hope you have a great day. (Future)
➢ I hope you’re not going to go to the supermarket without your mother. (present)
➢ I hope my teacher will not angry with me.(future)
3. Speaking
Dialog 1
Dika : Leo, are you free this Saturday?
Leo : Yeah, I think so. Why?
Dika : I would like to invite you to my exhibition
this Saturday.
Leo : Oh, you have your own exhibition?
Dika : Yes. I have.
Leo : What time the exhibition starts?
Dika : I’ll prepare at noon but maybe you can
come over at five or six.
Leo : OK then, Thank you for inviting me, Dika.
Dika : My pleasure.
