Obituaries – our condolences to the bereaved families
▪ PDG D. George Allen (Crown Heights) is recuperating at home. We pray for his speedy recovery and return to optimum health.
▪ Lion Allen Abelson (Starrett City/Spring Creek) faced an invasive surgical procedure and requests our prayers for successful
outcome and speedy recovery.
▪ Lion Jackie Bowen (Laurelton) is recovering at home, following a vehicular “hit and run” accident near her home in Queens.
Thankfully, her injuries are not life-threatening. We pray for her speedy return to good health.
▪ Lion Cheryl Ceasar (Secretary, Laurelton) is recuperating at home from a broken leg caused by accidental fall. We wish her a
speedy recovery.
1. Lion Estela Caesar (Brooklyn Bedford Stuyvesant) announces with sadness, the passing of her beloved mother, Ms. Raquel
Saunders. We pray that the family is comforted as they recall wonderful memories of her life and love. “Let not your heart be
troubled. It is well with my soul”
2. Lion Clarence Simms ( Brooklyn New Horizon ) sadly announces the passing of his dear brother, Mr. Victor Simms, in
Jamaica, West Indies. “May the love of The Holy Spirit wrap the family in a comforting embrace as they cherish his
memory. Sleep in eternal peace”.
3. Lion Judith Wilson ) Brooklyn Metropolis) mourns the loss of her cherished aunt, Ms. Lovina Regis, in St. Vincent. “Earth has
no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Be still and know that I am God”
4. Lion Michele David ( Brooklyn New Horizon ) grieves the transition of her beloved grandmother, Ms. Lucille Josiah, in
Guyana. We pray for that blessed peace that passes all understanding as you reflect on the cherished memories of her love.

5. Lions Tata Manuel Corpuz and Eduardo Corpuz ( South Ozone Park Empire City Medical) mourn the passing of their mother
and mother0in-law respectively “May The Creator bless the family with compassion and strength during this season of pain
and loss. May the dearly departed sleep in everlasting peace”
6. ZC Marcella Fraser - Edwards (Kings County) reports that her beloved mother has transitioned from life in her earthly body
and now rests securely in Paradise for all eternity. “May The Loving Arms of God embrace the family with peace and comfort
during this difficult season of pain”

Aden Shaw, has crossed from life in this world and entered into God’s eternal life. “May the Holy Spirit welcome him with joy”
8. Lion Clarence Simms ( Brooklyn New Horizon ) sadly announces the passing of his dear sister, Ms. Marcia Simms, in
Massachusetts Though gone from the sight and touch of her family and friends, she will always remain in their memory.
“Sleep in perfect peace”.
9. Lions Sharon Coombs - Rose and Xamayla Rose (Brooklyn Rising Stars of East Flatbush) are morning the loss of their
mother and grandmother respectively, Mrs. Miriam Coombs. “May The Lord comfort you with His peace as you recall happy
memories of her love and kindness”.
10. Lion Pauline Grant (Brooklyn Prospect Heights) slipped into eternity, on the island of Jamaica, West Indies. “Life has changed,
not ended.” She will be remembered with love for her diligent service to humanity.
11. Lion Silma Thorpe (Brooklyn Prospect Heights) shares the sad news that her brother, Mr. Marop Smart has passed away in
Panama. “Come to me, if you are heavily burdened and I will give you peace.” May the family find comfort as they recall the
memory of happier days.

transitioned into eternity. “Be comforted. Life has not ended - only changed. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal”.
13. Lion Hermelene Thomas (Brooklyn Crown Heights) shares the sad news that her brother, Mr. Leroy Mitchell has completed his
earthly assignments and has been called home to rest in eternity with his Creator. “May The Perpetual Light shine on him and
