1. Members of Brooklyn Prospect Heights mourn with the family of their Past President, Lions Jo-Ann Leonard.
“Blessed are they that die in The Lord, that they may rest from their labors and their good works follow them”.
2. Members of Laurelton Lions Club are heartbroken by the passing of their dedicated past secretary and service
provider, Lion Cheryl Caesar. “Come to me, all who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. in
the safe shelter of my gentle embrace”. Her Creator reached out, and she responded with her typical soft smile.
3. Mid-Bedford Heights Lions Club members are grieving the loss of their beloved Lion Millie Bonnette. “Having
completed your kingdom assignments, life in your earthly body has ceased. May you rest in the everlasting peace
that God has prepared for you”
4. Lion Betty Thorpe (Brooklyn New Horizon) shares the sad news that her dear sister, former club member Shelly
Thorpe has transitioned from this earthly life to eternity with her Creator. “Let the angels encamp around the
grieving family members, bringing comfort and peace”
5. Lion President Dr. Jean Joseph (Brooklyn Canarsie) shares the devastating announcement that her sister-in-law,
Mrs. Mummy Petrolina Joseph has passed away in Dominica, West Indies. “Perfect submission. All is at rest. True
love never dies but remains in our hearts forever.”
6. With heavy hearts, the Rosedale Lions Club announces the passing of Lion Yvonne Lewis (Past President of
Rosedale and St. Albans Lions Clubs). “Welcome, good and faithful servant. Enter into the glory and promise of His
eternal paradise, which He has prepared for you”.
7. Lion Herman Green (Past President and Club Director Brooklyn East New York Lions Club) ran his race with
dignity, pride, and love of service. He has transitioned, and now, we share the sad news that he has transitioned
into eternity. “Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal”
8. Laurelton Lions Club mourns with Lion Sheila Greene (Past President) and Lion Ronald Greene (Charter Member)
as they walk through the dark valley of the shadow of death. “Life” for Mr. Charles Jenkins, their beloved father
and father-in-law, respectively, has changed, and he has joined the great crowd of witnesses in God’s eternal
kingdom. He will always be remembered with great affection and warmth.
