We salute her on this 105
th
birthday. It is truly a blessing
to have her live with me in
Brooklyn and to honor her life.
Her husband sailed for a living
and she never remarried after
his death. With steadfast dili-
gence, she raised her seven chil-
dren and continues to radiate
joy to family and friends who
fondly call her “Moms, Mom,
Granny, Mrs Lucky or Kirton.”
She remains firmly grounded in
her faith and radiates that
peace and unconditional love to
everyone with whom she comes
into contact.
It is a delight to share her with
my Lions family. May God con-
tinue to bless her.
