ENSURE YOUR CLUB GETS THE ATTENTION IT DESERVES

SUBMIT ARTICLES FOR PUBLICATION

1. Each club is entitled to submit ONE service project for publication in each
edition of the E-News / Magazine.

2. Reports must be concise (no more than 250 words) and submitted as an
attached MICROSOFT WORD document (PDFs will not be accepted)

3. JPEG photos (candid shots of Lions in action) should tell a story to
complement the article.

a. Clarify each photo with a short explanatory caption. (identify subjects)
(MAXIMUM OF 4 PIX ONLY)

Key to quality photos. Focus on what's happening and get close to
the action for sharp, clear photos. Photo ops, ( a picture of a row of
Lions smiling at the camera ) are ill-advised.

4. Submit articles and photos as attached files, (NOT EMBEDDED in the
body of the email. )

5. Do not use graphics or logos downloaded from the internet.
They may not reprint correctly.

NOTES:
a. In the spirit of Lionism and courtesy to the E-News Team, Lions are urged to
respect the timeline when deadlines are published.

b. The editor reserves the right to edit articles where necessary.
The layout adviser / designer may reduce or enlarge photos as needed.
