1. While the Brooklyn East New York Lions Club members mourn the transition of their beloved Lion
Marieco Alleyne, they celebrate the life and legacy of humanitarian service. “May the arms and heart of
God embrace you as you enter the glory and promise of His Paradise”.

2. It is with great sadness that the members of Maspeth Lions Club announce that the spirit of Charter
member Lion Joe Grippo has transitioned from this world and has joined the crowd of witnesses in
God’s eternal life. “Well done, good and faithful servant. Rest in heavenly peace”.

3. The Queens Village Lions Family and members of St. Joseph Episcopal Church Vestry regret to
announce the passing of Mrs. Phyllis Hendricks, in Florida. She is the beloved sister of PACS Joan Bryan,
and Lion Stella Gray, and aunt of Lion Carlene Bryan. (All from Queens Village Lions Club). “He reached
down, took hold of me, and drew me out of deep waters. Rest in the everlasting peace that God has
prepared for you.

4. Lion President Rose Gomes of Brooklyn Midwood Lions Club and family announces with deep sadness
the passing of her son-in-law James Jay Thompson. He responded to the voice of his Creator, who
beckoned,” Come to me, and I will give you rest. Just lay your weary head upon my breast, and I will give
you peace!”

5. It is with great sadness that the officers and members of Winthrop Lions Club, Inc. announce the
passing of Lion Coralyn Munroe's mother, Lion Joyce Ephraim. “Blessed are those who die in the Lord.”

6. Lion Shirley Carmino of New Horizon Lions Club is mourning the passing of her mother, Mrs. Isla
Nanton of Trinidad and Tobago. “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have finished your
assignments. “May the angels welcome you to rest in eternal peace.
